Aside from the mere fact that Second term members are considered experienced and high ranking Legislators with the capacity to become Principal Officer or Chairman of notable Committee of the House, the capacity to of Honorable Wumi Ogunlola has facilitated unprecedented growth in her Constituency in the last Four years.
The growth I talk about is not the invisible and the “mouth-jacking See me do” that many politicians are found of. Through Employment, physical Projects and youth empowerment, women empowerment, party contributions, Ogunlola has complemented Governor Fayemi’s development agenda.

The Completion of 2 blocks of 12 classrooms at Okemesi, a block of 6 classrooms and Police post at Ikoro, 2 bedroom flat for a widow whose house was affected by storm, Construction of Erelu Bisi Fayemi Health centre at Ejiyan Ekiti, Solar Powered Boreholes at 11 communities and installation of Solar Streetlights in all the towns and communities of Ijero, Ekiti West and Efon LGAs.

Hon. Ogunlola’s Empowerment’ intervention for constituents was one of its kind in the history of the constituency even while she Facilitated ICT tools for secondary all schools. She gave Bursary for 200 students, Free Exercise Books for all JSS1 students and WAEC Past Questions for all SS3 students in all the secondary schools of the Constituency.

Ogunlola Facilitated N20,000 grants for 90 constituents at SMEDAN and 30 constituents at Fed. Min. of Humanitarian Affairs. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Ogunlola did not leave the people to suffer, she distributed palliatives to the Aged, Vulnerable and Youths.

Hon. Wumi Ogunlola is the only woman among the six (6) Members of House of Representatives from Ekiti State and she performed outstandingly to represent motherhood for all in her constituency through the promotion and support of gender bills, an advocate for women, youth and children development.
She is voice of reckon in the National Assembly through her rigorous parliamentary engagements, intellectual debates while sponsoring local and international capacity building workshops for constituents.
